Fred Szymanski is a sound designer and audio specialist with extensive experience creating sound design for film, and television promotions and commercials. In the film world he has worked with many directors including Joel and Ethan Coen and Martin Scorsese. He is known for the "Wildy Effect", an early example of abstract sound design and hyper-real effects in motion pictures. In the commercial world, his client list includes BBDO, J Walter Thompson, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Publicis, and Baron & Baron. He has collaborated with such visual effects and production companies as Framestore, Imaginary Forces, and ILM and has worked with the commercial directors Joe Pykta, Wally Pfister, new talents Kevin Belandi and Shawn Drake, and others.
